In(k)spire_Me & A La Card Monkey Challenge

Endlich mal wieder kreativ sein - das hat mir in den letzten Tagen wirklich gefehlt. Also mußte ich heute wirklich mal alles geben und habe gestempelt und vorallem heiß embossed was das Zeig hält ;)

Und so sah die Vorlage von In(k)spire_me aus:

Finally I found some time to be creative again - something I really missed in the past couple of days! So today I had to really go at it and stamp and emboss with reckless abandon ;)

I gave my everything for the newest challenge at in(k)spire_me & at the same time at alacardmonkey

This was the sketch from in(k)spire_me:

Natürlich habe mich für Weihnachten entschieden, dieses Mal im absoluten Vintage Look... leider ist das Foto ziemlich Käse, in Echt sieht das Ganze wirklich viel besser aus ;) Ich habe mich auf zwei Farben beschränkt, nämlich Espresso und Chili und dann noch schön mit goldenem Embossinpulver herumgespielt.

Außerdem habe ich es dieses Mal gewagt "fremd zu stempeln" aber der Schriftzug und der Dasher sind auf alle Fälle von Stampin' Up, genauso wie Papier und Embossingpulver. ;)

Of course I decided to do another Christmas card, this time I tried the vintage look... it's such a bummer that the picture is pretty bad.. I promise it looks much better in real ;) I used just two colors, Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler and then played around with the golden embossing powder.

I also dared to mix and match foreign and SU products but the sentiment and dasher are definitely from Stampin' Up! as well as papers and embossing powder. ;)

It's just another Mojo Monday....

Naja, eigentlich ist es ja schon Mojo Mittwoch ;) Ich habe mich gestern und heut mal wieder an einen Mojo Monday Sketch gewagt, den ich dieses Mal wirklich nicht ganz einfach fand. Ich bin mir selbst nicht ganz sicher, ob mir gefällt, was ich letzten Endes kreiert habe, aber seht selbst:

Well actually it is Mojo Wednesday :) Yesterday night and also tonight I've been working yet again on another Mojo Monday Sketch. This weeks sketch I found to be somewhat tricky and I'm not quite sure whether I like what I've come up with but decide for yourself:

Ich habe das Stempelset "Party This Way" und "Confetti" genutzt und mit den Farben "Glutrot", "Farngrün", "Zartblau" und "Pazifikblau" gearbeitet.

I used the stamp sets "Party This Way" and "Confetti" and worked with the following colors: "Real Red", "Pear Pizzaz", "Bashful Blue" and "Pacific Point".

Ich bin wirklich neugierig auf Eure Meinung und eventuelle Verbesserungsvorschläge. Ich habe zum Beispiel nach Fertigstellung der Karte gedacht, dass es noch besser gewesen wäre, den zartblauen Hintergrund durch die BigShot zu jagen und zum Beispiel mit dem quadratischen Gitter zu prägen. Was meint Ihr?

I am really eager to find out how you like it and even hear some ideas how I could have done better. For example: After finishing the card I thought it might have been even better to run the bashful blue background through the bigshot to give it some texture... what do you think?

Der dritte Mojo Monday...

Ich hatte mal wieder Lust auf eine kleine Herausforderung, also habe ich mich für den Mojo Monday Sketch dieser Woche entschieden:

Und das ist mein Ergebnis: Ich habe mich für die quadratische Version entschieden und so entstand eine Babykarte in Kirschblüte, Espresso, Savanne und Flüsterweiß. Der Strampler ist aus dem Gastgeberinnen-Set "A Slice of Life" (Level1 aus dem Minikatalog), die Tags sind mal wieder mit dem Stempelset "Tiny Tags" gestaltet:

Jetzt bin ich eingeladen worden, noch an einem anderen Sketch teilzunehmen, der gerade bei "In(k)spire" läuft.... Mal sehen, was mir dazu noch so einfällt. Es macht wirklich Spaß, an diesen Challenges teilzunehmen und sich dadurch immer wieder zu Neuem inspirieren zu lassen - probiert's mal aus!
