Delicate Doilies - Sneak Peek

Also das neue Stempelset "Delicate Doilies" hat es mir ja wirklich angetan und ich habe schon ziemlich viel damit herumgespielt. Ich zeige Euch heute mal drei sehr ähnliche Karten, alle mit fast den gleichen Elementen, aber doch ganz anders ;)

The new stamp set "Delicate Doilies" really caught my fancy and I've been playing around with it quite a bit lately. Today I am going to show you three cards that are all pretty similar with identical emlements but still very diffrent ;)

 Hier habe ich das Stempelset auf Savanne bzw. Kirschblüte weiß embosst und mit dem Stempelset "Glaube Einfach" kombiniert. Die neue Bordürenstanze passt einfach perfekt dazu, meint ihr nicht auch?
Here I used heat embossing on "crumb cake" and "blushing bride" and combined the stamp set with another stamp set called "Just Believe". The new border punch is a perfect match, don't you think?

 Hier habe ich ebenfalls mit weiß heißembosst, dieses Mal aber auf dem neuen Farbkarton "Blauregen" und "Veilchen" - die beiden In Colors passen super zusammen! Außerdem habe ich hier das Stempelset "Four Frames" kombiniert.
Here I also heat embossed with white embossing powder but this time on cardstock with the new color called "Wisteria Wonder" and  the old "Concord Crush" - those two In Colors just match perfectly! Here I combined the stamp set "Four Frames".

Wieder "Blauregen" und "Veilchen", dieses Mal sind die "Delicate Doilies" aber eben auch in diesen Farben auf "flüsterweißer" TopNote gestempelt und mit Glitzersteinchen verziert. Die Bordürenstanze ist dieses Mal komplett sichtbar und mit einer weiteren Bordürenstanze kombiniert. Hier kam auch wieder einer der "Four Frames" um Einsatz.
Again "Wisteria Wonder" and "Concord Crush" ,  but this time I stamped with these colors on a "whisper white" Top Note. I added little diamonds and here the border punch is completely visible and combined with another border punch. The stamp set "Four Frames" was also used again.

Ich bin, wie ihr merkt, sehr begeistert und freue mich schon darauf, Euch die Produkte ab Oktober live und in Farbe präsentieren zu können ;)
As you can probably tell I am very excited and am looking forward to showing you all products live and in action starting October ;)

"Von uns zum Fest" - clean & simple

Heute habe ich mal eine Karte nach einem Sketch von "Clean & Simple" gestaltet. Hier ist der Sketch:
Today I created a card using a sketch from "clean & simple". This is their sketch:

Und hier ist meine Karte. Ich habe dieses Mal wieder eines der neuen Weihnachtsstempelsets genutzt, das "Von uns zum Fest" heißt.
 And this is my creation. I again used one of the new stamp sets, called "Beautiful Season".

Die Karte ist aus olivgrünem Farbkarton auf den ich ebenfalls in oliv die Zweige des Vogelstempels gestempelt habe um dem Karton wieder ein bisschen Struktur zu verleihen. Den Streifen "chilifarbenen" Karton habe ich mit dem Prägefolder "Quadratisches Gitter" durch die BigShot gejagt und mit "Espresso" geinkt
The card is made with old olive cardstock and I stamped parts of the "bird on the branch" in old olive on it to give it some texture. I ran the cherry cobbler cardstock through my BigShot for some embossing and then inked it with early espresso.

Die Meise ist mit StazOn Stempelfarbe auf Flüsterweiß gestempelt und mit dem Aquamaler und den Farben "Aquamarin", "Ozeanblau", "Limone", "Safrangelb", "Olivgrün", "Espresso" und "Glutrot" coloriert. Ich habe ihn gleich zwei mal gestempelt, einen davon ganz vorsichtig ausgeschnitten und dann mit Stampin' Dimensionals auf den anderen geklebt, um einen "3-D-Effekt" zu erzielen.

I stamped the bird with StazOn on whisper white cardstock and colored it with the Aquapainter and here are the colors I used: "Pool Party", "Lucky Limeade", "So Saffron", "Old Olive", "Early Espresso" and "Real Red". I stamped and colored it a second time, carefully cut it out and glued it on the first bird to give it some "3-D-effect".

Forever Young...

...so heißt eines der Stempelsets im neuen Katalog, mit denen ich schon ein bisschen herumspielen konnte.... Gestern kam es in der Post und so mußte ich natürlich gleich ran ;)
Eigentlich dachte ich immer, dass ich nicht so ein wirklicher Vintage-Fan bin, aber... irgendwie entwickelte sich das ganze von ganz alleine. Ich hatte was ganz einfaches, klares geplant und hier seht ihr, was daraus geworden ist:

..that's the name of one of the stampsets in the new catalogue that I was able to play with ahead of time.. I received it in the mail yesterday and couldn't resist trying my hand on it right away ;)
I really used to think, that I really didn't have a mind for anything vintage, but.... somehow it developed into something "vintagy" all by itsself. I had a very simple and clean sketch in mind and here you see what came out of it:

 Den Baum habe ich zuerst mit "Espresso" auf Vanille Pur gestempelt, dann die Blätter mit dem Versamarker betupft und mit Goldpuder embosst. Die Karte selbst ist mit Savanne auf Olivgrün gestempelt, ebenfalls mit dem Stempelset "Forever Young" und einem der "Tiny Tags", um so mein ganz eigenes Designerpapier zu gestalten. Der Schriftzug ist aus dem letzten Sale-A-Bration Stempelset "Glück". Alle Papiere sind mit Savanne geinkt. Innen habe ich die Ringbuchstanze mit einem Fetzen Vanille Pur Farbkarton benutzt, den ich mit den Zweigen des Baumes noch einmal in Savanne bestempelt habe. Natürlich wurde da auch heftig geknüllt und geinkt ;) Hier ist noch einmal eine Nahaufnahme vom Baum, der so schön glänzt:

The tree was first stamped with "early espresso" on "very vanilla" cardstock. I then used the Versamark pen to highlight the leaves with golden embossing powder. For the card itself I used "old olive" cardstock and stamped the frames and sillouettes from the "Forever Young" stamp set as well as one little stamp from the "Tiny Tags" stamp set  in "crumb cake" to created my very own designer paper. The sentiment is from the last sale-a-breation stamp set  called "bliss". All papers were inked with "crumb cake". For the inside part of the card I used the border punch on some "very vanilla" scrap paper. I used the branches from the tree to stamp on the wrinkled scrap paper and of course inked everything up with "crumb cake" again. Her is a close-up of the shimmering tree:

Schon lustig, wie sich die Kreativität manchmal ganz und gar verselbständig und schließlich etwas ganz anderes entsteht als man es ursprünglich geplant hatte ;)

Funny how creativity sometimes takes it's own course and the final results of a project end up so completely diffrent from what I originally had in mind ;)

Heute hab`ich Post bekommen...

...und wie hab ich mich gefreut! Denn es waren die Vorbestellungsprodukte aus dem neuen Katalog, den Ihr ab Oktober bei mir bekommen könnt. Das ist einer der vielen Vorteile, wenn mal Demonstratorin bei Stampin'Up! ist - man darf schon etwas früher an die kleinen Kostbarkeiten ran. Zeigen darf ich Euch davon nocht nichts, ABER dieses Mal haben sich die Regeln etwas entschärft und ich darf Euch schon zeigen, was ich damit so gebastelt habe ;) Also - Voilá! - Hier ist die erste schnelle Kreation:

I got mail today - and was soooo excited! It was a package from Stampin'Up! with all the new products I could preorder from the new catalog you can from me in October. That's one of the many advantages of being a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator - you get to see everything new a little earlier than everybody else. I am not allowed to show you the actual products - BUT - this year for the first time I am allowed to show you what I made with the stuff that's new ;) So - here you go! This is my first fast creation:

Alles neue Produkte - inklusive der Farben, außer natürlich die Perlen, die Etikettstanze und Wellenkantenstanze und der Spruch "Just for you" - der ist noch aus dem aktuellen Gastgeberinnen-Set LvL1 "Afterthoughts" - haha, naja, wenn ich das so lese ist wohl doch nicht wiklich alles neu! ;)

Auf alle Fälle hatte ich meinen Spaß und werde mal sehen, was sich noch so alles damit zaubern läßt! :)

Everything is new, including the colors, except of course the pearls, the decorative lable and the scallop edge border and the sentiment is form hostess stampset lvl 1 called "Afterthoughts" in the still existing catalog. - LOL - actually, looking at the list I guess not quite everything is new! ;)

But I definitely had my fun trying my hand on my new toys and am excited to find out what else I can create with them! :)

Guten Morgen...

Ich habe mich gestern gar nichts von mir hören lassen, weil ich voll und ganz mit zwei Projekten beschäftigt bin. Das erste ist weniger erfreulich und gar nicht kreativ - Jahressteuerabrechnung - uuugh!

Das zweite Projekt kann ich nur Nachts angehen, wenn die Jungs im Bett sind - aber das ist wenigstens richtig kreative und etwas umfangreicher als gewöhnlich. Hier ein paar Sneak-Peaks: 

Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday - I am totally busy with two major projects right now. The first one isn't very exciting and nothing creative at all - it's filing taxes for my speechtherapy practice - uuuugh! The second project is one I can only work on after the kids are in bed - but at least it is a creative one just a little more involving than usual. I'll give you a few sneak- peaks:

Damit ihr aber nicht nur mit so etwas halb fertigen zurückgelassen werdet, hier noch ein Karte mit einigen meiner Lieblingsstempelsets: "Glaube einfach", "Tiny Tags" und dem Gastgeberinnen-Set "Punch-Potpourri" (das es nur noch bis Ende September geben wird!). But I don't want to leave you with just half finnished pictures. So here comes one of a card I made a while ago: I used some of my favorites stamping sets: "Just Believe", "Tiny Tags" and "Punch-Potpourrie" (A Hostess-Set Lvl A which will only be available until the end of September!). The colors are "Pear Pizzaz", "Blushing Bride" and "Whisper White"
